Job Description

Remote Telehealth Nurse

We are hiring a Remote Telehealth Nurse based in Illinois to support digital healthcare consultations and patient care plans. This position offers a steady schedule, collaborative medical staff, and comprehensive remote training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive remote clinical assessments and telephone triage for diverse patient populations.
  • Educate patients on disease management, medication adherence, and preventive healthcare strategies.
  • Accurately document all patient interactions, clinical decision-making, and referrals within electronic health records (EHR).
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care managers to optimize remote treatment plans.
  • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA standards, patient privacy laws, and clinical best practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice (Compact license preferred).
  • Minimum of 2+ years of recent clinical experience in acute care, urgent care, or primary care settings.
  • Prior experience with telehealth, telephone triage, or digital care platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, AthenaHealth).
  • Strong communication skills, high empathy, and comfort operating computer and audio systems independently.
